Here are some of my favourite drinking games!

Each Game became a legendary feature of Chalet Caroline Life (a chalet I ran in France) they definitely do what they are supposed to. The first rule to remember is that a drinking game is about drinking. None of this 'oh I don't want to get drunk' it is going to happen so don't wine, just do it. And a Disclaimer - Drinking will make you appear more interesting, it will make you feel more confident and think you are better looking than you really are. It will also make you think you are good at dancing, it turns the volume down on things people say to you, and makes a complete stranger your best friend. Finally and most dangerously, it makes members of the opposite sex seem more attractive than they really are. You are warned!!!

Game 1 - The Card Game - Aim to turn over all 52 cards!

How to Play: Best played with about 5-8 people. Everyone sits around in a circle with a drink in front of them (to keep your hand busy) and a shot of your drink in front of you as well. The Game plays clockwise around the table. Each person takes a card from the pack placed in the middle and turns their card over for everyone to see places it back on the table and does as commanded. What the cards signify follows. The game initially takes investment of about 10mins but once it gets going hilarity ensues. You must have a copy of the rules next to you when you play!!

Turn over a 2 - Make a rule - Person makes a new rule applicable for the rest of the game. Some good examples include - no pointing, no swearing, no saying the word 'drink', talking in a posh accent, saying shit after every sentence. Failure means down your shot!

Turn over a 3 - Waterfall - Person starts drinking their main drink, clockwise each person follows after the person preceeding. You cannot stop until the person before you. The person who started has to be the first to stop. Funny when two people try to mess each other up!

Turn over a 4 - Word Association - Person starts with a word next follows with an associated word until a mistake is made. Fail then down your shot.....you Slagg.

Turn over a 5 - Shot out - Person gets to distribute 5 shots around the table as he sees fit.

Turn over a 6 - Name Game 2 mins - Who ever mess's up downs the shot - drink while you think. Name Game rules are explained below as it is a fun game on its own.

Turn over a 7 - Fuckoff Master - Whoever chose the card is this until the card is chosen by someone else. Every time they ask a question they must be told to 'fuckoff'. If you answer you down your shot.

Turn over a 8 - Grenade Master - !Warning have some room available! The person who chose this can at any point until someone else chooses this card pretend to throw a grenade. Sound effects required. On this noise the last person on the floor drinks their shot.

Turn over a 9 - Chin Master - Person who chose this puts their hand on their chin. Last person at the table to follow suit Forfeits a shot.

Turn over a 10 - Slaps - You slap your hands to the left, next person slaps either to the left, or to the right, you can choose direction. However if you just clap in the middle it skips a person in the direction it was already going. Mess-up.......you got it down that shot.

Turn over a Jack - A ship came in - Person starts of 'A ship came in to Ika ta Huna carrying a crate of'...' and comes up with a theme, i.e. 'beers' it follows around the table until someone mess's up an downs the shot.

Turn over a Queen - Fuzzy Duck - Person starts to the left 'Fuzzy Duck' next person either repeats to continue in that direction, or says 'Does he' to change direction. If it changes direction you must say 'Ducky Fuzz' Careful not to say 'Fucky Duck' or 'Does he Fuck'.

Turn over a King - Place 2 Fingers of your drink in the middle glass - the person who picks up the last king drinks the central glass under the criteria decided from the Ace cards.

Turn over an Ace - The first time the Ace is selected choose how many items of clothing the person will b wearing when drinking the central drink, the second Ace, what position they must be in, the third Ace, how many attempts they have to down it. The final Ace, a dare if they fail

Game 2 - The Name Game

This is such a simple but fun game. Simply start by saying the name of a famous person, for instance 'Peter Andre' the next person must then follow by saying a famous name beginning with the first letter of the previous surname, i.e. 'A'. Therefore 'Agatha Christie'. Now the next person must start with 'C'. Easy! However when there is a double barrel name i.e. 'Andre Agassi', it goes back to the person that went before. The drinking occurs by drinking while you are thinking, its also good to introduce the international drinking rules whilst playing. Gradually bringing them in works well.

Game 3 - 21's a Test of Wit and Memory

Warning do not play this game with irritating stupid people it will drive you mad trying to get over the simple concept to them! Anyway it goes like this you get in a circle with friends and count around to 21. Whoever says 21 drinks a shot. You can say 2 number together i.e. 3,4, and this makes the calling out change direction. If you call out 3 numbers then you jump one person in the direction you are going. When you get to 21 the person who says it and drinks must then make up a new rule for a number, i.e. on 10 stand up and clap! Easy........mmmm try it.

INTERNATIONAL DRINKING RULES

3. There must be no use of the word 'Drink'
